Get ready to empower your students with digital literacy and citizenship skills they urgently need to navigate the generative AI era! I've curated instructional materials aligned with ISTE Standards for Students (specifically 1.2 Digital Citizen), and integrated AI tools to explore various aspects of generative AI, including both the possibilities and pitfalls. After exploring (and contributing to!) the resources, participants will come away from this session with
*a better understanding of generative AI
*ideas for communicating expectations with students
*a toolbox for building student skills in effective, ethical use of AI

MAX number of participants=50
