Fearless Teaching: Google Slides for Dynamic Classrooms
Tuesday August 6, 2024 2:00pm - 2:45pm EDT
Often Google Slides is looked at as a one-dimensional tool where students create some kind of presentation and then awkwardly stand in front of it babbling through the information with their back to the class.

In this session, participants will see other ways that Google Slides can be used that are not presentations. Projects such as interactive infographics, posters, vocabulary books, comic strips, Gif Short Stories, Newsletters, and auto-rotating announcement slides will be showcased and discussed. Just like any good teacher does with content once the basics of a tool are taught a teacher can scaffold the use of a tool adding skills and how it is used allowing students to create more complicated projects as they build on their knowledge base and comfortability with a tool.

During the session once the ideas are presented, participants will be challenged to create an interactive infographic of their own and then share their products with the group.

Join me to learn and create with Google Slides.
